Early one Sunday morning, since I was scheduled to preach in Lovell, Maine, I got an early start and took the scenic route, bringing my camera with me.
This lovely little pond was a pleasant surprise for me; I'd never noticed it before. There was a duck sitting on a rock out in the middle of the pond, and as we watched, he swam away. Alas, he was too small to be an element in this painting.
