One of my favorite hikes during 2008 was the hike I took up Tumbledown Mountain in the Mt. Blue area. Tumbledown has a lovely little pond at the summit, and the summit itself is an extraordinarily steep drop.
I loved this view of the Tumbledown summits and the pond, as viewed from Parker Ridge.
What a lovely day - time to spend with good friends, a sense of peaceful isolation and solitude, and lovely views of distant mountains!
